Food was awful, ordered bagel with bacon and maple syrup as they didn’t have any chicken so anything on the menu with chicken was a no go. Bagel wasn’t really a bagel, more of a roll with a hole in it, maple syrup was not maple syrup, seemed like golden syrup to me. Lemonade tasted like a vitamin c tablet dissolved in water. Sisters latte was also cold and tasted bad although my mums latte was good Although my sister cut her hand on the table which seem to have sharp bits underneath it?
Lovely tea (of course!) and delicious cake, the staff are really friendly and keep the place very clean and organised to keep up with the COVID regs. Recommend booking a table before going if you can.
They have a great selection of teas but spend your money elsewhere if looking for food. I came in and had avocado toast with scrambled egg, and it was so so dissappointing. Average bread, unseasoned avocado, and the taste and texture of the eggs indicated to me that they were cooked in a microwave. I feel ripped off considering this was 7.70, and to top off, the coffee was bitter and service was very slow considering it was not very busy whatsoever.
They have an extensive tea selection...and very good scones, cream and jam.
