Great value for decent quality Japanese food. Friendly fast service although it would be nice if they would actually take cards! We eat in here a lot and also get takeout- I've become rather charmed by the single album of movie soundtracks on pan pipes...I'll never be able to watch Pirates of the Caribbean again without thinking of here!

My food was awesome. I'm a big fan of Japanese food and this place would definitely go near the top of my list. The staff were very attentive and rhe portion sizes were good. The pricing was in line with other Japanese restaurants (which is a little higher than your standard restaurant). The only thing that could have been a little better was the salmon and avocado Maki which to me tasted a little soapy.

Kenji is a small cozy place that we like a lot. The staffs were so friendly, helpful, and worked efficiently. The food was yummy, made with fresh ingredients, well prepared and well presented. The price is affordable. We highly recommend this place!

Great service and lovely food. The best Japanese food I have had in Edinburgh. Socially distanced safety procedures were in place and it was busy with customers. There was a nice vibe to the place and I will need to go back to take some photos of the high quality food. Salmon bento box was great.
