Some of the staff is good, some of the staff is really not. The doctors were excellent so that's the important part in terms of your safety and your health.... That being said pretty much everything clerical they don't give the time of day if they're confused about words on your birth registration form or anything like that, They don't bother to ask you and they just put you through hell trying to get it corrected at the other end of things... There's also certain processes related to semi-normal complications that they could have handled way better but it seems like they're short-staffed most hours and don't have the time to deal with these things. As a result of that I wonder if we experienced unnecessary complications which added stress through the first month.

The OB’s and Nurses here are incredible, I am in awe of them and have absolutely no idea how they do it. Grueling hours, birth after birth, understaffed- all during Covid. My experience here was excellent, thanks almost exclusively to the nurses and OB’s. I had a c section, performed by my primary OB. I was readmitted for preeclampsia a couple of times which was stressful and traumatic as a first time Mom. I was by myself as my husband and baby were at home. The nurses, OB’s and staff at this birth center got me through it- comforted me when I cried, reassured me when I was scared and, most importantly prevented a medically dangerous situation from escalating any further. My husband, my baby and myself owe them more thank yous than we could ever provide. They are lifesavers, with a smile on their face. I am eternally grateful for every single OB, Nurse, anesthesiologist and Pediatrician we saw during our stay.
