Wonderful to find a place that is so honest and helpful. Looked at my broken camera and diagnosed the problem without charging (most other places charge a flat fee) and then gave honest advice about the best way to repair. Graham is clearly passionate about cameras - he was so enthusiastic and helpful that I have decided to get a better lens and up my photography game thanks to him!

Graham was absolutely fantastic. I was looking for someone local rather then going to a central London repair shop. I came across Gres Camera Repairs on Google. He fixed my camera and serviced it in good time. I needed my camera before he could give it back to me so kindly loaned me a similar slr through the period of time for my repair. There are so few repairers who are willing to tackle older cameras that it's a real pleasure to find one, especially with the wealth of knowledge and expertise Graham offers. I entrusted an exceptionally rare but non-working 1960's Japanese camera into his hands. He got all the complex mechanisms working and also resurrected its dead meter. In addition he repaired two prototype medium format lenses that are now fully functional. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending GRES.

Very efficient and friendly service. My filter was jammed on my camera lens (Canon EOS 77D). I was quoted 30 by Jessops just to send it off to see if they could repair it without damaging the lens, with no assurance that it would be successful. I decided not to take that risk. I found Gres Camera Repair on the internet and at first I was hesitant to ask for help as it seemed to be for professionals, but I called anyway. Graham was brilliant from start to finish. I dropped the camera off one day and the next day picked it up all repaired, for a fraction of just the initial cost quoted by Jessops. Graham has a wealth of knowledge and experience and was very happy to help with my issue. I wouldn’t hesitate in going back, whatever the problem.
