I wrote a review 3 years ago. This was my first apartment (super easy to get into) if you are desperate this is a great place to go to other than that don’t waist your time or energy. Majority of the places owned by Williams investment (Colby crest apartments and majority of the apartments behind Colby crest on wetmore ave) I stayed in 2526 wetmore ave. The place has mold everywhere. Under the sink in particular you could see a lot of mold. The house has a water leak or something under it. (Year round there is a patch of mud water in the yard) the stump in the yard is pushing up the window and the house (I have pictures on my other phone if I find it I will upload) so it’s slanted and if the stump continues to grow it could break the whole window from the pressure (my boyfriend said that) the leak I mentioned under the house I believe that water is what causes all of the moisture in the house causing all the mold. There’s no insulation. When you ask maintenance to fix something they take their sweet time. THE MOLD IS THE BIGGEST PART STAYING IN A PLACE WITH MOLD CAN CAUSE MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES SO PLEASE INSPECT YOUR HOUSES THOUROUGHLY. When I moved out I met the people they leased to and the lady let me come inside I let her know there is mold in the place she wanted me to show her (because I seen she was helping her mom and dad move in they were elderly) they use to have radiators in 3 spots in the house the front door area, the living room, and the bedroom. Each had black mold behind them. I told the landlord once I left about the mold instead of them cleaning it. They built boxes over the Radiator!! To hide the mold They cut corners a lot here so beware.

I have been here for over 5 years now. As with any public living spaces, there are good and not so good tenants. They seem to do a good job of screening. There is an onsite maintenance man to keep things up and running. Good response for repairs. Owner has delayed some upgrades to windows and entry system. Pretty quiet place for the most part. Location is great for me. Close to all of downtown amenities and close to the high school for good entertainment, be it sports, theater or music events. The low cost of high school entertainment makes it affordable to most everyone. Close to bus transportation which I utilize all the time. Great mountain views on upper floors.
I live at a differnt property that belongs to Williams. Every time the managers at my place were lazy, disorganized, absent, or being replaced, Colby Crest employees would help. From broken washer/dryer, carpet replacement, to move out help with PUD. Dan and the lovely ladies would help me out. I've been in there before when another customer was throwing a mean cussword fit. They handled her politely but firmly. They told her what information she needed to provide and how to get it. Considering how the customer was throwing her arms around and being threatening, i thought they would threaten with 911 but they never even meantioned any form of security help. Each property is different but some like Colby are the ones you go to as you go up the management ladder for help before heading to the corporate main office. I have complaints about where i lived but you get what you pay for. Frankly where i was living was a bargain. So much space at a smaller price than other companies and properties. Plus i'm not a perfect tenant (hoarder of craft supplies and clothes), just quite and hermit.
Management was very nice and consistently helped me with finding a apartment in my price range pets are welcomed with a fee but trust me it's worth it. The apartments are nice and cozy well ventilated.
Quiet place to live. Can be a little loud depending on your neighbors but general everyone here is friendly and nice.
