\Le Funi\, come la chiamano gli abitanti di Friburgo, permette di scendere dalla città alta a quella bassa con comodità. Questa funicolare, risale al 1899 e funziona sfruttando la acque reflue della città. Venne costruita dai proprietari della Birreria Cardinal ( ora chiusa) per permettere agli operai, che abitavano nella città bassa, di andare agevolmente al lavoro. Divertente e panoramica.
