Can't believe some people say they're unhelpful. The exact opposite of my experience. And I've been there loads and loads of times and often ask the dummest of questions. They're always brilliant and very helpful indeed. Lots of amazing stuff, but you will pay for it, as the owners are no mugs and know the value of everything they handle.

Great place for second hand building goods
I have never left a poor review for anywhere but today I found them unwilling to be even the slightest bit helpful and I will never go back. That said, they do have a big range of stuff so as long as you go expecting a low level of humanity you will probably leave happy.
Looking for tiles to match the ones on our porch, circa 1917, and found them there.
Unfriendly and overpriced, Glastonbury and Wells Reclamation are cheaper and more inviting. Does have some good stuff though. I recommended haggling.
