Highly recommend this practice. From the professional and empathetic approach from Stephen upon booking my appointment to the truly brilliant way Maria dealt with my problem. For what could have been a very difficult appointment, her super efficient and friendly approach made me extremely comfortable with the work undertaken. This was, without doubt, the best experience I have had with a dentist practice.

I don't make dental appointments very often. I have a phobia of dentists stemming from a bad experience as a child. The dental team at MyDentist were made aware of this. Also, I now take my dental hygiene seriously and so have little need to visit. MyDentist provided a filling on my last appointment which was several years ago and since then I have not attended and I've had no communication from them other than a couple of emails asking if I'm happy to receive promotions. During lockdown, I started noticing occasional discomfort and figured after restrictions were lifted I would get it checked out... It wasn't an emergency. My fiancé and I moved house and she rang them to update our address. She was told that I had been removed as a patient as I had not attended for 2 years! They also told her that no dental practices are currently accepting new NHS registrations so if I need any treatment it would have to be private. After speaking with them, they told me that a letter was sent to me back in 2018 (I never received this letter) and so they consider the matter closed. Absolutely horrendous way to treat patients, especially when they know that it's now basically impossible to register at another surgery.

I can not praise My Dentist at Frome enough. Kayleigh on the reception team spoke to me when I was convinced something was wrong. She was so pleasant and helpful. I suffer with anxiety so she really kept me calm. She listened and wrote everything down that I was telling her. I explained that I really couldn't wait until my actual dentist came back from Annual Leave. She was so understanding and could tell from my voice the urgency. She got me straight in to see Ivan. Within two hours Ivan has assessed me and seen the urgency. He got straight on to the RUH in Bath as he was concerned about the swelling in my neck and jaw. He wrote a letter to speed me through A and E and referred me to the Maxilo Facial team. Thank goodness that Kayleigh and Ivan did what they did as it was an infected abscess that burst whilst I was in the A and E department. I had emergency surgery and spent two nights in hospital. I have two messages... if you have swelling or pain you MUST contact your Dentist and they will help you. My second message... It is a difficult time for everyone at the moment. Kayleigh and Ivan are prime examples of people who do their job superbly. Please treat the NHS staff in the way you wish to be treated. They are all doing their very best to help everyone. Kayleigh and Ivan all I can say is THANK YOU for helping me.

Excellent service from Lucian and his assistant for the last few years. Good humour and being kept well informed made having a troublesome wisdom tooth removed a breeze!! I was back to work with no negative after effects straight away. Everybody there has been pleasant and helpful. Many thanks
