This gem is the only Indonesian restaurant in Ghent and has a great menu (that should get all locals into this wonderful cuisine). I had the 'gado gado' and 'satay kambing', both dishes were very well prepared. G&T lovers tip: try their own gin (Rama) with the clementine tonic; very good pairing with their dishes. If you visit Ghent and are not familiar with Indonesian food (or if you do know the food and need a fix) a 'must visit'. (also staff and owner are very friendly)

Starter is okay....foods are taste good but it depends on your taste and if u like the asian indo foods. Staff are friendly and hospitable.

This place is an absolute gem!! The modern and relaxing atmosphere is a welcome respite from the lovely but bustling old world of Ghent. The namesake beer is unique and quite excellent, definitely worth enjoying. The menu has some solid traditional Indonesian classics, try the Satay! Ingredients in the food are clearly of really high quality, and the food is absolutely amazing, full of flavor. A must-go!

This was my first experience with Indonesian kitchen. The loempia as a starter is not that special. The skewers of chicken and lamb are very tasty. I only miss a bit more vegetables together with the plain basmati rice. The restaurant is very cosy and the service is friendly. In general it is a very good restaurant but the portions may be a bit bigger for that price. A bit more variety in wines would be great as well. All bottles of wine are in the same price range.

Lovely food and friendly staff. The ginger honey shrimps are amazing. The layered cake is dry.

One of the best places to have dinner in Ghent. Great flavour and taste. I ordered chicken satay, beef korma and prawn chilli. Meat was tender and halal :)

5 on 5, because the staff never fails to make us go out with the biggest smile. Both because they are so friendly and the food authentic. Love the place, thank you.

We had the Loempia Semarang for an appetizer - shrimp spring roll. Then we had the Goele Ikan - fish with coconut sauce and Oerang Goreng Madu - Shrimpm Scampi. Both were excellent. Overall, we very much enjoyed our meals and the experience. We would like to come back again. Great place.
