Seldom seen area for the battlefield. Was a quiet and peaceful drive through. Would like to see it with a licensed guide to better understand what happened there.

Often overlooked area. I recommend reading \Gettysburg Forgotten Cavalry Actions\ and \Protecting The Flanks - The Battles for Brinkerhoff Ridge and East Cavalry Field\ by Eric Wittenberg.
I was challenged to pull off the road shut the car and lights off and sit there for 10 minutes. If you are in town after dark try it feel the ghost come to your car. Really cool spot I never heard of
Very interesting and beautiful place. Well worth taking the time to visit. The cavalry battles that took place here were an important part of the story of Gettysburg.
This is a part of the gettysburg battlefield that doesn't get as much attention or visitors as the rest. Not many monuments but it is pretty ground.
