Nice place to visit and enjoy natural pool in the sea, down below. The swiming pool besides the building has hot water, which is nice even in a rainy and cold day. The restaurant was quite a good surprise.

There are way better natural more beautiful caldeiras in São Miguel. Wait for them to open after the pandemic.

6 Euro for the outside swimming pool was great - nice warming and perfect for relaxing in - Had some old Bint (I mean old) bombing in at one point - once she stopped that it was great.

Didn’t get into the ocean thermal or pool but had fun looking and walking around both. Very tricky steep road to get down there and a little confusing while mapping but they are all at the bottom of a big hill in the same area. Site of last volcanic eruption 500 years ago.

Very interesting place, definitely worth a visit but don't expect warm water! I expected water to be warm at least at some places but the best I we got was \less cold\. Some people found it too cold and did not enter the natural swimming pool. Visited at the end of June. Road down is closed so you have leave the car at the top and walk 700 metres, toilet and changing rooms are being renovated so not accessible.

The pool looked kind of shabby, but the naturally heated water is very nice. We were actually planning to go to the pool where the water from the hot springs enters the sea, but with hurricane Lorenzo coming and it being close to hight tide, it looked too dangerous. The sea pool would be free, but for 6 euros you get entranc to the spa and the thermal pool there is nicely warm too.

The spa itself was great. The Oceanside thermal spa was amazing. Visit when tides are low for extra warmth, enjoy the crashing waves
