Great location there are several tours in the day and we went for the 3:30pm tour. The whisky tour was both indoors and outdoors and it walks through all the different areas. They even allow you to enter the massive warehouse where the whisky is sitting in their casks. We also got the opportunity to smell the different whiskys from the variety of casks - such as port, sherry, bourbon, wine, rum, etc. Glen Moray does not do peat smoked whisky which Scotland is known for, however they do make you smell it on the tour! There is a nice cafe along the tasting area with afternoon tea and cakes (gluten free ones too).

Excellent distillery near Elgin. Tour guide Anna gave us a great tour with lot's of smiles and explained with clear details the place and the origins and traditions of Glen Moray. Unique on the tour and not seen anywhere before was the smell sampling of the different wood finishes in the warehouse. Between port wood and madeira wood to chateau iquem and rum. What a unique experience. There is a small shop annex restaurant that serves local produce and a variety of sift drinks. Free parking on site. Highly recommended.
A great distillery tour, So enjoyable the staff are amazing so helpful and go out of there way to welcome you. There is a lovely cafe in the distillery and I had lunch before I took the tour the food is georgous. The tour guide was great with a great knowlage about the production process and went out of her way to make sure everyone understood the process. It tour finished off back in the distillery shop with a tutored tasting of a range of products and the guide gave us some whisky not included in the tour which was very generous. Parking is available onsite with lots if space, but the staff will a range a taxi for you if you ask. The distillery shop is fantastic with a range of clothing and merchandise a large selection of whisky and some distillery exclusives. I can't fault this distillery such a lovely experience and would highly recommend a visit.
A distillery I was looking forward to see, but Sadly the worse whisky experience in Spey. Had to beg the 3x staff members twice to come and assist as they were chit chatting in the kitchen all the time. There was another couple also experiencing the same treatment. I was so disappointed with what happened that I wore to their “brand ambassador” but even he brushed it off. The good news is that you spoiled for choice of whisky in this area the service everywhere else have been amazing
They offer a tour for 5 pounds with the possibility to taste a couple of wisky at the end. If you want there are more advanced tasting experience with different prices. The tour was interesting and well explained. You can also have a smell experience to see for yourself how the barrel change the flavour of a visky by aging. We also bought a bottle to bring home with us!
