Lovely place to take little ones (or big ones) to watch the trains. Cheap platform tickets if you only want to watch.

Can't believe I've lived in Leicester for over 30 years and this is my first visit. Cold December day but didn't dampen my enjoyment of this very atmospheric place. Really good to see hear and smell a real steam train.
