Divya Kurian

I had went to their saket outlet and there I usually order the non veg platter. Here we ordered 1. Chicken malai tikka (half) - we got 3 pieces which were tasty and mailaidaar. But the only problem was limited in quantity and expensive 2. Mushroom - was really good. But again limited quantity. 3. Ruwangan tczaman - Paneer in tomoto curry. It was not at all good. It was tasting like a soup. 4. Marchwangan Korma - chicken curry little spicy not that much but it was fine compared to paneer curry. 5. Mix platter bread - laccha paratha and naan mix. It was fine. 6. Pulav - sweet but not that tasty or great flavours. The service was good. The staff brings you hot water to wash your hands. The staffs were cordial. Ambience was good. What we didn't like was the quantity w.r.t price and taste of some dishes. I gave two stars only for the service.

Khyen Chen is a nice little Kashmiri restaurant situated on the ground Floor of Cross point Mall. It's got nice interiors and tables are easily available here during lunch time. They specialise in Kashmiri food. We had the following and I must say they were well prepared and served their objective. RoganJosh - 4/5 Goshtaba Biryani - 3/5 (some may like it, didn't suit my palate) Maaz Kanti - 4/5 Mixed Bread Basket - Good.

Khyen Chyen does serve wonders of Kashmir. No doubt about it. Crazy Bhukkhad admins decided to have a lunch meeting here today. And I feel we did right. Weather had turned cooler since morning due to continual raining, and all of us wanted to have kahwa. So kahwa it was. While sipping on the saffron infused dry fruit kahwa, we ordered Tabakh Maaz, Maaz Shami kebab, Maaz Kanti, Nadur Monji in starters. Tabakh Maaz was as always very soft with crispy outer. Shami was unlike the mughlai one. It was mildly spiced, finely minced, deep fried kebab. Maaz kanti can be compared with sort of chilli mutton, only a better version. It had melt in mouth mutton chunks tossed in onion capsicum. Nadur Monji looked to me as veg shami kebabs made with lotus stem. We had also ordered the mains - daniwal chicken korma, Rista, Yakhin maaz, Ruwangan Tczaman and my fav marchwangan mutton korma. Although I found yakhin a little too sour, my friends quite liked it. We had pulav and mixed breads basket. And we ordered kahwa again!! My only ruse here has been the lack of specialty Kashmiri breads - rot, sheermal etc I'm not much in to chicken but I took a bite from my friend's plate and all I'd say is , that you can't make chicken breast softer than what they do. My star dishes here would remain tabakhmaaz and marchwangan korma, still I liked all the dishes today, and am inclined to add maaz kanti to my star list here and can visit khyen chyen the 7th time or more just for these! This was my 6th visit since it opened at cross point and I have definitely found the quality and taste consistent. Keep it up team Khyen Chyen :-) To know about more such great food in Delhi NCR, please join our FB group #CrazyBhukkhad

We visited this place last week with some of our friends .it's on the ground floor of South point Mall. Since we visited the place around early evening it was empty. We ordered the following items in appetizer - tabakh maaz ( it was well cooked) - veg shami kabab( good in taste) Mains: - Rista ( it was well cooked) - Rogan josh( winner) - Ali-i-yakhin ( good option for vegetarians) - mutton biryani ( average) Pros: - authentic kashmiri food - music n ambience ( if you enjoy regional music) - prompt sevice Cons - not everything mentioned in the menu is available basic like zafaran qahwa was not available when we requested after having the meal.

Well located in Cross Point Mall...good Seekh kebabs and a unique Sooji Ki Phirni... the vegetarians must order Nadru Ki Tikki... however, the chutneys need some improvement, especially the Mooli Ki Chutney which was leaving water within minutes of resting. The Goshtaba curry was thick and creamy, which is what I liked about it. The spice levels are medium, so the ones looking for more heat may order green chillies on the side.
