A Great Place to enjoy Authentic Assamese Food. The service is somewhat slow but the food justifies the delay. The Ambience is a bit sleazy. The staff is helpful and polite. There's usually a rush during the peak hours. The 'Chicken with Bamboo Shoot' (Baah Gaaz) is a must try.

Food is good. Budget friendly. Pork with sesame seeds is worth trying. Mutton, Chicken and duck preparation is available. Pigeon meat dish is mostly unavailable. Staff behaviour is fine. Cleanliness can be improved a little bit. Recommend to book table in advance if more than 5-6 people. Overall pleasant experience.

This review is solely of the chandmari branch of this restaurant. Personally favourite Assamese cuisine restaurant. Took my parents once and they were really satisfied. Had been going since 3 years and still one of my favourite place to dine in. Rates are reasonable.

I wandered in with my cousins on a Saturday evening, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of cooking chicken. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 4:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. Don’t let appearances fool you—the decor may be divey, but the chicken with bamboshoot is fantastic. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date.

The restaurant named after Assamese khorikaa (barbecued dishes), this restaurant serves a selection of authentic Assamese cuisines with a upscaled comfortable ambience. The place is very nicely decorated with heritage Assamese culture reflecting in the restaurant. We ordered Joha rice, Dal, Aalo( Potato) Pitika, Begena( Brinjal) Pitika, Duck curry and Pork with bamboo shoots. Should definitely try the Pork and Duck curry it was really appetizing. Ambience was really good there but cleanliness can be improved a bit. Staff behaviour was really good as he gave us some extra aaloo fries as well which he didn't charge us. I recommend you to book a table if more than 4 people are going together. Prices are decent enough for such an admirable food. Overall a pleasant experience and I would say everyone should definitely go with their friends and family to get a touch of the Assamese Cuisine.

The food was exceptionally good. We ordered the traditional Assamese thali which had apt amount of many items and was very tasty. Moreover we ordered Mutton curry, Pigeon curry, & Duck curry which were also very tasty and were in good amount . I specially liked the meat distribution in them because they were cut into small pieces and was enough for 5 people. Moreover the place was very aesthetic and the service was also good.
