A lovely beach that has a walk of three miles if visited at low tide, there’s also an enjoyable coastal cliff walk if the tides in from the north west side. The beach itself can be very windy but naturally stunning, clean and enjoyable with lifeguards.

Just An Epic made even more epic if visited in the sunshine Huge Like really huge Super wide when the sea is out Shallow which makes swimming easy and lovely (always be weary and careful of the tide and swell) Clean Fine sand all the way around Lovely walks to the beach if you choose the dunes

This is so beautiful here. Had a wonderful walk to St Ives along the beach, and returning along the sand dunes. What's there not to like

Beautiful sandy beach, easy access with a large car park. Great for a day out whether you just want to lie down on the sand or stay active in the water. Highly recommended.

Gwithian Beach is a lovely, scenic coastline which has wonderful views of a nearby lighthouse, as well as St. Ives across the Bay. Parking is plentiful with a mixture of paid and free spaces. Is a great place to go surfing and/or swimming as there is a decent lifeguard presence as well as decent surfing conditions on the right day. There is a small Café over the road running behind the coastline which is great for dinks and lunch after a walk on the beach, overall a really great place and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great coastal walks, plenty of space for the dogs to run around as we went out of peak season 1st July to end of Aug. Glorious views and of course some welcome wildlife. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Stunning beach. Walk down the steps and Gwithian is on the right. No dogs in July and August. Turn left and dog friendly all year however, whilst its a massive beach when the tide is out, there's no beach when it's in and you get cut off by the rocks which separate the 2 beaches. You can get to it over the dunes about half a mile further down.

Masses of glorious SPACE down on the beach - it was low tide. It would be very different at high tide, so check that out before heading for the Towans.
