I had a septorhinoplasty with Mr Guy Sterne at Nuffield Wolverhampton I was abit nervous going in to my initial consultation but Mr Sterne soon put me at ease and answered any questions I had. He was also really good at accommodating when I wanted the procedure done. He was open and honest and explained the risks and possible outcomes of the procedure. I am so happy with the end result and it has given me the confidence to go out feeling confident and not self conscious anymore. The theatre team were brilliant they were great and communicating with me and put me at ease.
After doing some research I decided to choose Mr Sterne as my surgeon. He was very easy to talk to and listened to everything I had to say, we discussed what my options were, the procedures and the outcome I could expect. I asked if it was possible to have the procedures done in one operation and Mr Sterne agreed to do this. I Decided to have a full face lift and upper and lower eyes, and we agreed to a date for my surgery. I arrived at the Nuffield Hospital Wolverhampton early morning, the staff were lovely and really looked after me. Mr Sterne came to see me and explained again what would be happening and I felt very reassured by him. The theatre staff were brilliant putting me at ease. After a one night stay in hospital I was allowed home. I had several appointments in the outpatients department and the aftercare was excellent. I was so pleased with the results that I have since been back to Mr Sterne and had my upper arms done, I had the fat taken away and the excess skin removed (no more bingo wings). I can't recommend Mr Sterne enough he's a brilliant surgeon and I can't thank him enough for the way I look and more importantly the way I feel about myself, the surgery has made such a difference to my life.
Could not compliment Guy Sterne enough, from start to finish he gave excellent, professional support and care. Although at first I felt very self conscious Guy Sterne put me at ease and made the whole process easy and comfortable. He listened to all my concerns, of which there were many! All his advice of what to expect was spot on. Guy Sterne gave me realistic expectations and his results were excellent achieving very natural results in my breast reduction and abdominoplasty. I am thrilled with the results and it’s given me back my confidence, also I’m able to wear many more types of clothes instead of hiding my figure with baggy clothes. Guy Sterne’s team in Wolverhampton from theatre, ward and clinic were very professional and caring. He is a kind, genuine and caring consultant and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this type of surgery.
The unsightly look of my legs was impacting on my coping with life. I loved swimming but now I was wearing knee length swimwear to cover them up. I didn't want anyone to see them, they were affecting my confidence, it was damaging any thoughts of relationships. I looked on line, there were beauty clinics, body shaping places, really not for me. Then I heard that the West Midland Hospital had Surgeons who performed life changing procedures to correct all kinds of body needs. I made an appointment with Mr Guy Sterne & another Surgeon, considering two consultations would give me a comparison view. The moment I met Mr Sterne I felt confident & relaxed in his presence. He examined me & demonstrated what improvement he felt he could make to the appearance of my legs. He felt he could achieve at least a 60% improvement. He would perform a bi-lateral thigh lift. He explained the pros & cons of the proposed surgery & recovery. I felt totally confident in his professionalism & he instilled trust. No reason to seek a 2nd consultation, I was totally satisfied. I had all the usual health checks beforehand & my surgery took place September 2018. The improvement in the look of my legs far exceeded the estimated 60%. I'm thrilled with the results, can now wear usual type swimwear & have no confidence issues anymore. All thanks to the skill of Mr Guy Sterne & West Midlands Hospital. Their combined support system was with me throughout.
