I hired Monika as my doula for my second pregnancy and gave birth to my baby boy in December 2019. I don't know how I ever had my first child without a doula! Monika gave me the extra bit of female support that I needed during pregnancy and labor without my UK family being close by. I wanted a friend and a sister with me for the birth and she was a lot more. She is knowledgeable, kind, understanding and practical. She completed the team that I needed for the birth, along with my partner, and gave us a wonderful birthing experience. I couldn't find a midwife for my second pregnancy but I felt secure knowing that I had Monika's support and that she offers aftercare visits too.
