'Sandwiches' seen to be a speciality. I had the vegetarian sandwich with blue cheese potatoes. Goodness, what great food. Perfectly flavoured and seasoned combination of ingredients, and the potatoes were luxurious and divine. And the pub itself is great. Grumpy Finnish staff complete the perfect atmosphere. (edit, to nitpick, the awful salad dressing was from a bottle, by the taste of it)

I asked my finished friend for the most local experience in Finnish cuisine and we came here. Local food, far from the tourist area, and a place (as my friend described) you would take your Finnish grandma here. The service was not espectacular (as described in other reviews, but I assume that's part of the experience), but the food compensate everything. Really local homemade food, in great portions. The taste is as good as you can think of by the pics.

Foods came fast and were very good. The indoor atmosphere was cozy although the waiter looked a bit tired on a Sunday. Nonetheless a great restaurant to stop by in Kallio.

Cozy place and good food. Price is average. Place could use some update for appearance.

Nice restaurant frenquented by locals and with typical dishes. We get there following the recommandation of a local guide (thanks a lot to Jonna from Green cap tours). Staff was agreable but maybe have some trouble when the local is at its maximum. It is advisable to book a table for peak hours although it closes late in the evening. Food is really tasty (do not miss the reindeer with mashed potatoes -poronkaristys) , and also home-made desserts. It is a bit far from city center but it is worth a visit.

A bit pricey for what you get. Food was good, but more expensive than other places like Konstan Möljä with an okay taste. The location is a bit far from city center as well. IPA beer was good tho. Overall, cost of transport plus extra cost of food is not worth the distance.
