This park is super close to our new home. It’s a great smaller sized park to enjoy with your kids. Decent little play ground, and a nice park bench picnic area to eat at. Nice walking trails as well. The damn and small lake and very pretty too. There’s also a lot of rental cabins and other amenities you drive through before you get to the park.

Great weekend getaway. Adorable cozy cabins with recently updated kitchens. We spent a long weekend exploring this park and some others. It was nice to get away and spend some time in nature. Since it was cooler, we pretty much had the park to ourselves. They have boat and kayak rentals on the lake which would be nice to do in the warmer months.

I had an opportunity to stay in one of the rustic cabins during January 2021. Our cabin had recently been renovated, and was perfect for a couples getaway. We enjoyed several of the hiking trails, and saw some families using the paddle boats.

Excellent park with lots of great hiking. The cabins were rustic and cozy. We would definitely go back again.

The staff was very friendly. The campground is small... \u003c40 campsites... but they were still spread out enough that you didn't feel as though you were on top of your neighbors even though there were no bushes or brush between campsites. The campground is very rolling and so my daily walks with my dog were challenging (for me), which was good since I can't go out and hike in the woods on slippery trails anymore. During my stay, which was over Thanksgiving, it snowed a few inches and the snow stuck to the tree branches, which made the campground an absolutely gorgeous winter wonderland for a couple days. I will definitely camp there again.
