Room was beautiful and comfortable. Restaurant dining was very good. Nice portions and reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

Elegant place, cozy and well thought. I got a studio room, with 2 bedrooms, bed very comfortable and room was wide, with shower and - outside on the balcony - heated bathtub to enjoy the sky without getting cold! Very nice breakfast and food for lunch/dinner! You can have your private moment with your significant one. Very recommended.
Great place to unwind and relax, as well as a base to explore the golden circle. Olaf and his staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. They also offer a wake up call in the middle of the night if the northern lights are visible - without which at 2am we wouldn't have seen them.
Wow wow wow, super amazing place to stay very high standard rooms with the hot tubs, extremely nice food very warm place, most likely you have big chance to see northern lights from this hotel.
This hotel was the cherry on top for our stay in Iceland; stayed here during the last night of our trip. The service went above and beyond. We called to notify them that we were arriving later than expected at night and they offered to keep the restaurant open for us, as well as the hot tubs, which they close out and clean up at a certain time! The gesture was greatly appreciated but we didn't want to inconvenience them further. They were kind enough to upgrade our room as well since the room was available. We did bump into one hiccup though. It was a charge on my credit card after we had left, but I called them and they removed the charge after I found out what it was for and disputed it. I'd more than welcome the opportunity to stay there again. Very peaceful, with a beautiful view.
Amazing staff and gorgeous location!
Absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and so helpful!! The food is really really good (a bit pricey but worth it), we stayed in a two bed apartment and it was amazing with our own private hot-tub!! The location is perfect if you’re looking to see the northern lights due to the lack of light pollution. Definitely recommend. I would definitely recommend getting a rental car to explore the amazing tourist spots, most places are roughly about an hour away.
