I am so impressed with the click and collect service provided by the IKEA team at Gateshead. Very efficient, structured and safe. Well done

The lack of staff around Is unreal, the staff aren’t willing to answer query’s either, and give you the easy way out by saying order it online:/ The desks didn’t even have staff in most of them. It was a mission finding a member of staff that knew how to answer a basic question. Staff didn’t really want to help you when asked where certain things are. I guess people still go there for the cheap price but the experience with staff is one of the worst I’ve experienced - too busy chatting amongst themselves at tills , need training on how to deal with customers? Only one called Jake was helpful thank you! Bought bedroom furniture and also glass mugs I’m surprised they don’t have paper to wrap glassware either, the two star is for the food and cheap pricing of it and the room designs are amazing.

Print out your email u will need it to complete the transaction. You will need your mobile number accessible when you ring up You will need photo ID. After all that u drive to your nominated bay (this will be text to you) Load your car with your items when the social distanced staff bring your trolly to your bay. (No in-store shopping when I ordered)

Really nice IKEA and never fail to get a hotdog! The only disappointment recently is that during lockdown you are asked to pay 5 to collect you items on click and collect? Unsure as to why this is needed as surely this should be a free service?

Click and collect worked perfectly and very quick service with social distances kept by staff.
