Had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The lady supervisor there was very rude. First, I and my bf were seated at a two person table. And then, a staff told us that there was a more spacious table available at the other side. As we were carrying some stuff and shopping bags, just understood it as a kind gesture. And unknowingly agreed to moved to the four seated table. Just after we seated there, the lady supervisor came to us and told us to move to two seated table and to have understanding as the table could accommodate more people and blah blah. She gave a pretentious begging and was talking very politely so that other people would think like we were the ones enter the shop and took whatever seat we like so that we can have some space to put our stuff, without being considerate. Later, we had to move back to the two seated table with our stuff and our situation was quite ugly. I was just to walk out of the restaurant without even moving again to the table. Stayed there just because my bf reassured me. The food is expensive, taste so so and the way they treat the customer is outrageous. We will never go back there again !

My virgin experience with traditional Myanmese food went really well here. The food taste so different from my usual, stimulating my palate in many ways. It's also not hard to tell that food here requires so much preparation. Really love hospitality too! **Disclaimer: if u r a health freak with zero tolerance for food that's a tad oily, this place is prob not for u.**
Here for the first time recommended by my Myanmar colleagues. Food was good with alot of variety. Got to try Myanmar Beer too. Check out the photos
Service has considerably deteriorated over the years. I was a regular customer there for the past 8-9 years and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. However, this last experience made me NOT want to return again. I walked in to get takeaway and was told to wait around 20 minutes. That was fine. What really angered me was that the customers dining in got their food first even though they ordered their food after me. Was told by one of the waiters when questioned, "Oh the salad bar and kitchen are separate" - though he didn't even know which table I was referring to. They were not eating salads. The waiter did not even apologise and even had the audacity to make up excuses. Needless to say, I got my food after half an hour of waiting. Such a shame cos the food was nice.
My very first time having a Burmese meal and this restaurant provides authentic dishes and ran by Burmese. The menu provides a must try list. From there two dishes were selected: the crispy eel and pork ribs with garlic. Both are fried until crispy and best served with chilli sauce. For appetizer, the pickled tea leaves salad is recommended. It’s crunchiness came from peanuts and broad beans. Rosellas leave as a vege dish is quite special - sour and best eat together with steam rice. The dessert and drinks are really sweet but nice.
They sell the most watery monthing at 9. There was Not even a fish cake in there. Such a pathetic place. If u wanna try authentic burmese food, this is not a place. But unfortunately this is the only "restaurany looking" for burmese food in sg so they still rule.
I tried Mohinga, Pickled Tea Leaf Salad, Shan Noodle soup, Black bean paste Pork, Pennywort Salad and Fried Tofu. My favorite was Pennywort Salad and Shan noodle soup. I will definitely come back again for these dishes!
One of a few good myanmar restaurants in Singapore. This place is especially suitable for bringing non-Myanmar people to try out Myanmar food.
