Kangra Mandir is a beautiful and heritage railway station on the Kangra Valley Railway line. This narrow gauge line was built by the British. It starts from Pathankot and goes to Joginder Nagar. The Pathankot - Baijnath Paprola Passenger train stops here and many tourists get down to travel further in kangra valley, Chamba and Dharamshala - McLeod Ganj. Bus stand is just 10 minutes away by auto from where you can get buses to all nearby hill stations. Direct taxis can also be arranged if you talk to the auto drivers outside. The view of the majestic snow capped mountains from this station is just breath taking.
