Like always nice and old Tadas Ivanauskas museum. Plenty to see. Nice staff. Brings back memories too. Worth going there. Nice and clean.

The museum is amazing, but the information in general and about the biography of the author is not on English, is not true, be aware that all the info is in Lithuanian. I had been in many of them and all the museum in Lithuania lacks in the language translation to at least English. On the other hand, the museum had a nice sea shell collection and butterflies. But the taxidermi for Lions and wild cats is not good.
Great museum. Magnificent displays. Good for bigger kids though. Don't overlook the "how to" next door. Shop was too pricy.
Very good museum. Expo of.many different types of animals from all over the world, very well kept, with info also in English. Very nice and friendly staff. If you like animals, you most definitely will like this museum. I will definitely will come back again.
Very interactive, for adults and kids. An eye catching animals. So amazing.
Good place to visit especially with kids, because it's quite educational not to mention - fun. Some animals are under the glass, so the surroundings are made to represent their habitat, which look realistic and neatly made. Highly recommend, the ticket cost 1,5eu for student and 2eu for adult.
definitely worth visiting! lovely staff, amazing exposition. also, the building is quite unique too.
It is a nice museum amidst a transformation from older Soviet-style to a more modern exposition and space management. The collection is modest if compared to larger renowned museums of natural history, but good in its local focus (collected by a local scholar, who is also comemorated in the upper floor) - and it is perfectly fine not to compete with larger museums. As a foreigner, I would love to see more information in English, and as such, I think, the museum would profit greatly from more infos on its items: e.g. it would have been of great interest for me to be able to read the infos on Tadas Ivanauskas upstairs. I would also remove the shield from the fossil-replica store from the smilodon skull: it is natural that such items are bought somewhere, but imho it made the item look a bit like an amazon toy. All in all, a lovely local museum!
