Love the path that take me so close to the waterfall. Very zen.
Beautiful and off the beaten path. Bring some mosquito repellent if you're visiting during Summer and early Autumn!
I took a hike down to this waterfall from Karuizawa Shiraito Falls, which took about an hour. Nice scenic view of the forrest and river.
The tour buses don't stop here, so it's likely you're going to get this all to yourself!
2020年9月末来訪。遊歩道を5分ほど歩くと木の橋があり、これを渡った先の川沿いの道が崩れていて、滝まではいけませんでした。音はするし木の枝の隙間からほんのわずかに見えたので残念です。 橋まで道はわりと整備されていましたが、未舗装なのでハイヒールとかはやめた方がいいです。 白糸の滝から5〜10分位車で走ったでしょうか。あれ？通り過ぎちゃったかなと不安になる頃、アンシエントホテルの茶色の看板が右手に見えました。ものすごく鋭角に右折するので大型車は注意です。駐車スペースは10台位ある感じでした。
マイナスイオンたっぷりですが、残念ながら最後の橋の先の道が崩落していて滝までは行けない気がしなくもない？ あと、熊さんには注意しましょう。
