One of the most crowded bus stop in whole NH12. The safest bus stop even in night too. You will see people moving even after 10 pm where as other bus stops become empty from 8 pm onward. There are proper seating arrangement for passengers in the bus stop. People can easily took bus towards their destiny. The only problem is traffic control. Due to 4 way point, there were always jam in office time. Traffic police there needs to be more active. Otherwise Madhyamgram Chowmatha bus stop is excellent.

There is a scenic beauty of your about Madhyamgram Choumatha that will remind you your childhood if you're a 1990's kid! The place is congested but still manageable. Chowmatha connects Madhyamgram station & furthermore Sodepure. Different food stalls available.

Not so good. Buses are there but they dont stop properly and that crates traffic jam there. No AC stopage and free purified water supply in there.

Rebuild and decorated with statues and an underpass to cross the road. No waiting for traffic signal for crossing. Safer option.

Most commonly used intersection road in North 24 paraganas, Chowmatha means a road with 4 heads and thats what it is and it connects to main sectors in the surroundings. The condition of the road and area is also improving with time as i have been using this path for a very long time and I have seen the city growing with time. You find conveyence for reaching Airport directly, one ends with take you toward Sodepur which again opens up a path to Barrackpore Junction on the right and back to Kolkata main city on the left.
