There was a very very nice officer that was responding to a illegal firework call and was very kind and nice to me and my buddy. He really did make me feel comfortable, and usually I am like scared when a police officer pulls over and talks to me but he made me feel comfortable , safe , and respected. So props to that officer thank you so much!!

Proof they're bad at their job. I don't like that a police officer told me directly that Lakeville City Council instructed the department to verbatim \Cite Everything.\ He was clearly disgruntled to be writing me a failure to yield ticket for rear ending an unlicensed immigrant driver who stopped dead in a right of way, No I wasn't too close, or moving too fast, but was towing a loaded trailer, she was in a focus, stopped on a dime. There are laws applicable to stopping violations, as in suddenly stopping in a right of way for no reason other then SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. BUT, I was behind so simpleton logic says my fault, I know. But it wasn't, and no one, including a Dakota County Judge, would listen to me for a second.

What a joke! We pay tax dollars in to this department for them to not thoroughly investigate crimes and then harass citizens over petty driving offenses. I Had a female officer accuse me of driving infractions that didn’t occurs, and after pulling me over to harass me; admitted that she issues citations to anyone that disagrees or questions her authority. When I requested we sergeant information, she refused to provide it, and told me to call in, of course no answer. Something needs to be done about these officers who seem to think they’re above the law and can abuse their powers in a disgraceful manner.

The best Police department in Minnesota, true public servants. They probably saved my life at least once.

Have called there a few times about various issues, the women I've spoken with are almost always at best curt, at worst rude and surly. This reflects poorly on Lakeville PD as a whole.
