This is a terrific school. If you're looking for somewhere which is not an \education factory\, which values courtesy and thoughtfulness, which understands that young people are individuals with strengths to be nurtured and weaknesses to be addressed rather than small statistics in larger cohorts to be monitored on a graph, then it's the school for you. It's warm, quirky, committed, fun and the teachers are terrific. Made me want to go back to school. And I'm 53!

Inspiring school. Focusses on bringing out the best in each child not on results league tables. Prepares pupils for life: academically and socially. 2 children through Junior and Senior school. Both have had an exceptional education. Accepted for themselves; quirkiness has been embraced and celebrated. Highly recommended.

My elder son has just completed his final A level after a fantastic 12 years at the Old Grammar. The support from the School and its Staff has been outstanding and they have always gone the extra mile. a 500 year old school with a 21st Century ethos.

We’ve been very happy with the level of care shown to both our boys. Staff always prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ for the students. A particular strength is the school’s ability to nurture talent in diverse areas. This is a school where it’s ok to be musical, sporty and bright and every child is valued for their individuality.

Excellent school, nurturing the children in their care and tailoring the curriculum to suit each child. The teachers are caring and supportive. The pastoral care is excellent and the head is amazing. The school has zero tolerance towards bullying. I cannot sympathise or identify with any of the negative comments in this thread. My kids have had the best time at LOGS and we are delighted with the education they have received.
