Every time I am in London I make a beeline to Jen. I have eaten dumplings in other places in Britain but nobody comes anywhere near her. Long may she reign supreme in the Soho scene. After the lock down is lifted I hope to visit Jen again. Good food is good food. Jen is something more than good she is excellent.

Ridiculously unpleasant customer service, a waitress was shouting at us after we have pointed out the food we ordered had more bones than meat in it. We are never coming back here again, that was the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Definitely NOT recommended.

Came here pre-movie, seen a review from social media and wanted to try here, a meal can go for as little as 6 per dish which I went for three of them cos I’m a hungry eater!! Fried Dumplings were lovely and fresh as a staple popular with patrons as they make their own dumplings here they were juicy and luscious. Duck with rice was tasty and had a nice sauce with the rice. Finally after seeing another patron order this I went for it and finished up with Crispy Fried Pork, great crispness on the skin and juicy succulent pork. I felt more stuffed than one of their dumplings wash it down with some green tea.

From the outside you can’t miss the green corner facade. Once in the inside, it feels cozy and welcoming. Through the big windows that wrap the restaurant you can see constant flow of pedestrians, that are mostly tourist. At the corner dumplings are being made by hand, and this is quite entertaining by itself. The service is fast and extremely friendly: You get acknowledged the moment you step inside (this is something that I like and that most of the times comes together with good service), served promptly, and greeted again as you leave with a warm goodbye. The food: I wasn’t very hungry so I just had the fried dumplings and some cold jasmine tea. I loved both the dumplings and the tea, and I can’t wait to come back to try other yummy items from the menu.

We popped in here one afternoon. We had heard a lot of good things and passed many times but never going in. This time we decided today is the day to try it! Place feels very authentic. I love that you can actually watch them making the dumplings in the window most of the day. It's a cafe so it's fairly basic set up with communal tables and shortish menu. The idea is you go and get something hot, maybe a cup of tea and leave. We ordered the dumplings both fried and Beijing style boiled dumplings. Both plates were delicious! Juicy, rich and full of flavour! I can't speak for the rest of the menu but if you want a quick stop for some dumplings you can't go wrong. Prices are good too. Found the staff to be polite and efficient. I often hear loads of stories about how Chinese are so rude but I think you get back what you give and apart from a few times I never get rude service. Remember also their culture is different from ours so don't expect Western style service.
