Great food. Usually an efficient service. You get loads more portions when you eat in rather than a take out. Soups are always very spicy so have some water ready for the initial shock Enjoyed thoroughly

Loved the food and the staff were great explaining the food and giving recommendations. It’s bustling, has a great atmosphere. Price is really good for quality of food!

I went in to order a take away and waited in the queue for 30 mins because there were 5 people in front of me. I didn't have a problem with waiting, however when I reached the top of the queue the customer service was diabolical. The lady that served me was explicitly rude, not just to myself but her language towards others customers was vulgar! She actually spoke Yoruba and was being abusive by calling customers mad , as well as other rude words. I bought 4 puff puff and one ewedu stew with assorted meat as well as one ewedu with gbegiri and assorted meat also. When I arrived home, I had to toss the puff puff into the bin as it was far too oily and was bland. I heated it up in the microwave for 30 secs but I hated the oiliness of it. The stew was good enough, but the meat was tough to chew so it ruined my enjoyment. All in all, it wasn't worth the time I spent waiting and the customer experience was unpleasant. Go there at your own risk!

2 days ago me and my sister went to try out Lolak restaurant because we wanted to taste some Nigerian food. We were astonished at the lack of hygiene between staff members. We observed the waitress use the same hand to touch money as to touch our food. I asked for my food to be taken back and a new plate given to me. The toilet is right next to the kitchen and the toilet door is always open and it stinks. The toilet has no tissue inside and the soap dispenser looked like it had been empty for a long time. Worse still the kitchen is so crowded and untidy, the cooks were sweating into the food they were preparing, I even observed one sneezing without covering their mouth, moreover they were sneezing directly over the food and instead of using tissue they just wiped their nose with their fingers and carried on stirring the pot. I could even see that there were rat droppings on the kitchen floor in the corner of the door. My sister and I decide to leave after we saw the large rat droppings, we had seen enough. Please for the safety of the public I urge you to visit these premises and observe with your own eyes the total lack of hygiene. These people are disgusting!! Worse still the owner has a stinking attitude to match the stinking restaurant. Fully disappointed I was
