Truly an epic place. Awesome staff and just an all round amazing vibe of a legendary shop with a mighty reputation. If you haven’t been here before then you’re mad. :3

Amazing, helpful, enthusiastic, kind staff that will go above and beyond to find what you're looking for! HUGE selection of costumes for both men and women, really fun items. Tons of wigs, Halloween home decorations, colourful eye lenses (sold to 18 only), party lashes, Snazaroo body paints, and typical cheesy stuff for hen parties, even flags (Japan, Wales, Croatia, Britain) for watching matches. You can try on the costumes there! You can even get adjustments (stitching) done, mine was a minor one and for free. Be careful as you can't return wearable items once you purchase them if you simply decide you don't want them anymore. Covid restrictions: limited number of people in the shop (so no crowding - yay). Can't recommend this shop - so much better than online shopping because you see what you get, can try it on, and feel easily inspired with so many items to choose from to combine for your outfit.

Firstly staff are lovely, but disappointing that you buy a child custom to be told you cannot refund or exchange. Now firstly sizes are always different when you buy clothes so it is sometimes a guess secondly as a working mum you dont have the luxury of coming to buy a custom with your child as they have school or your working after school and weekends so at the very least if i make a mistake or the sizing is different from what i expected the option should be there for me to exchange. But that is not the case here so for that reason i will not sadly shop here again.

Very poor selection in here and it seems a bit mixed up. I think there are much better places in London for fancy dress. It used to have a really good reputation but maybe it has new owners now.

I was in yesterday looking for some accessories for 2 Halloween costumes. I was on a mission to find green sparkly false eyelashes and a dark green wig, both which are surprisingly hard to find. I was assisted by a woman at the cosmetics counter in the back who was very helpful in helping me brainstorm how to craft the accessories I needed from the materials they sell. She also was very helpful in showing me where to find other little things I needed around the store and advised me to go to a craft store close by for some things the superstore doesn't carry. It was a very pleasant shopping experience and I will definitely be back!
