Absolute joy and so homely it sometimes bring joyful tears to my eyes! The best dishes are the wok fried veggies with meats. In general the dishes are not too greasy and the staff are very nice and accommodating. Before you order remember to give the staff your preferences and ask for recommendations, and you will have a satisfying meal for sure! Enjoy!

The restaurant is known for Jiangsu cuisine, which tend to sport food on the healthier and less spicy side. The menu has many authentic dishes that are common to the region such as Lion's Head and sweet and sour spare ribs, both usually my favorites. Overall, we felt the food were really well prepared, not greasy, and resembled home-style cooking. Did I also mention they have a good selection of Chinese desserts. Highly recommend it if you are looking to try healthier type of Chinese cuisine.

Absolutely my favorite Chinese restaurant in London. Huaiyang cuisine is not common in London so do a bit of research to get a feel for the sorts of dishes you might expect. Everything I've had here is delicious but the braised pork belly, cold spicy poached chicken and the lotus root and prawn dishes are worth the trip alone.

Have been to this restaurant twice now, first time just my husband and I, and the second time a group of 4. We love discovering regional cuisines of China and Restaurant He has become one of our favourites. We even got a few dishes to take away and they reheated perfectly at home. Each dish reminds me the childhood taste what my grandma cooks at home. The owner and the staff team make sure you feel like home at theirs, with professional and attentive services. The ambience, from deco to music to plates, is very welcoming and homey. A great addition to the London Chinese food scene!
