We are the leading independent spiritualist church in the UK. We welcome members and non members to all our services, healing and events. There is no charge for attending services or healing. Our Church services are conducted with reverence and follow much the same format as any other orthodox service, an address being given on the philosophy of the movement, followed by a demonstration of the gifts of the spirit. Spiritual healing is freely given and can assist conventional treatment given by the medical profession. Often it can also alleviate illness which fails to respond to other forms of treatment.

I phoned with general questions about the church and spoke to Doreen the V.P. She was rather overbearing and selective about the questions she answered. Instead of answering simple questions she launched into a long boring drone about the activities at the church. Then out of the blue began talking about money, saying some people are mean and some people give more, and how they operated on a donation basis. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but said that people probably give according to their means, as opposed to being mean. She didn't like this. If they operate on donations then they should accept what people give, without judging them. Sensing that I wasn't going to take her bs about money, she made up an excuse for having to go. I said I'd call later, as my questions were unanswered. I couldn't understand why innocent questions were being ignored, so wanted answers. When I called back, I asked my questions again. She answered the most basic ones, then proceeded with another droning and dull monologue about the soul, light and beliefs that seemed to have been stitched up on the spot. She talked over me and droned on. Dull monotonous talking is very much a brain washing or NLP technique. Sadly for her it didn't work. I expressed my annoyance at her evasiveness. Having read a review here I can well believe there are dark energies at work. And no doubt money is at the heart of it. Much like the fraudsters of past who piece together nonsense beliefs to con people. My call was genuine as I'd visited the church many decades ago. However, based on my experience today and the other review. I will not be going again as its likely an unsavoury, unsafe and unworthy place.
