A charming little hamlet with lovely scenery including an apple orchard. The food was fantastic and Covid guidelines were well worked. Great beer garden or sit inside amongst the beautiful building and fireplaces. A must visit for all the family and dog friendly. We will be returning soon.

Really delicious food. The portions were good and the vegetables were particularly beautifully cooked. Friendly welcoming staff. Well organised - table service only. We got a bit cold towards the very end of the evening as the windows had to be open but it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the evening

Not been to The Cleave as it has previously been too busy or closed. We arrived early on Saturday for lunch and was offered a lovely table in the garden. Although service was busy, we waited no time at all before our baguettes were served. The fillings of ham /cheese and roast beef, were moist and delicious, both served with salad and homemade coleslaw. From what we saw, the main meals looked equally as appetising. The staff were attentive and covid procedures followed. This is certainly a place we will come back to.

This is a wonderful well run pub with a first rate menu served in the safest of environments. With well spaced tables and extensive outside space with new and comfortable outside furniture for dining outdoors, the staff and management at The Cleave in Lustleigh are taking no short cuts towards making this one of the best pubs in Devon.
