Environment: Still an undiscovered gem of Malmö. Cirkus @ The More Bistro is baffingly intimate and being unconsciously shy as it boasts a cosy area with an indoor dining that has good acoustics and at the same time an outdoor sitting that takes you to a Mediterranean memory. Don’t be fooled with the fact the the restaurant is in a hotel. It feels more like a hangout at a friend’s open kitchen. One comment though is for them to clean the cobwebs on the outdoor patio. Otherwise, I feel welcomed. Hashtag #WelcomeToTheCirkus. Food and Drinks: I have been always thinking to jump in for almost a year. Finally, last June I went there - not only once, but three times, and then directly the first week of July - just because of how they put affection on their food and drinks. Summer is dedicated for casual food such as gourmet pizza sprinkled with flavour, good crusts and sizes impeccably done, and sliders that gave you quality with new flavours and twists. The catch of the day - at those times I visited was a lobster or a sea bass - and didn’t disappoint at all. Ask them for their house wine or a GT. They can match your mood and even improve it. Service: The smile, professionalism, speed and attentiveness puts their staff on top of my lists of best restaurant services I have ever experienced this year. They should keep it that way. The perfect little (not so little tbh) hideaway in the middle of Malmö, a cosy living room feeling and great staff makes this for one of Malmös true hidden gems!
Been there 3 times already. The 2 times the food was exquisite. The one time I ordered salmon tartar it was a bit frozen - a small minus and something to mind for next time. But I still give this place 5 stars for imaginative, delicate and sofisticated dishes. 4th time there :-) was a fabulous experience! The food was amazing and what an impressive list of wines! We got to talk to the chef and the sommelier. Truly inspiring to see people so passionate about what they are doing and striving to provide such an experience for guests. The waitress is a sweetheart bringing it all together with her attentiveness to the guests and food. Best customer service in town!
