This place offers amazing food. I came here during lunch so I got a lunch special, which is a really good deal— I got full from that already. The chef is the owner and he was really nice. Highly recommend this place if you wanna try something new. You won’t be disappointed.

For those who have no idea what Burmese food is like (raises hand), it’s similar to other southeast Asian food but with its own very distinct flavors. Highly recommend the garlic noodles with duck- the duck was so tender and the noodles were infused with the taste of fresh garlic without being overpowering. For appetizers, had the tea leaf salad and tofu salad. Both were unlike anything I’ve had before. The tea leaves mixed into thinly sliced celery root (?) gave a refreshing earthiness. The tofu salad was more mild in flavor, but definitely not the tasteless store tofu that you might be thinking of. Definitely encourage you to give them a try!

Found this hidden gem a few weeks ago. Absolutely amazing food and service. I have tried a few things from the menu, and everything is incredible. My favorite is chicken and potato curry with side of rice- the meat is most tender and the mix of spices is perfect. I highly recommend this plaice to everyone. This is my new go-to.

A hidden treasure! Best food I have had in years. Made with love from the owner. The owner was so polite and went out of his way to make my family feel welcome and special. We had the Spring Rolls for an app, they were crispy and the sauce was a bit spicy but perfect. We also had the Shan Noodles which were incredible. My favorite was the Beef Curry, which reminded me of a very flavorful Beef stew with lump chunks of tender melt in your mouth beef. Try the coconut rice as well. To end our meal we had a delicious Jelly Shake. We will be coming back! My new favorite spot.

Decided to try Amayar Kitchen for the first time today 1/9/21 for dinner (takeout). We order Kyae Oh Noodle soup (which simply amazing!!! Full of rich flavors and textures), Coconut Chicken Noodle soup (also great). The mix of flavors for both dishes were some of best. For desert we had Pandan Coconut Drink which we loved given that we like coconut/condense milk flavors. I look forward to trying out the rest of their menu.

Excellent food and service. Sato and Lynn made us feel like we're old friends. Saw the sign up before covid lockdown but forgot about them until the other day when we drove past to go to the mall. We waited a year to try hehehe. Never had Burmese food before so this was definitely exciting news. Something different to try. We came 2 days ago with a cousin who came from NYC to visit. We had: Appetizers: Palata with Beef - it was like an egg scramble with lots of ground beef and wonderful spices Potato Cutlet with Beef - think Potato Balls aka Papas Rellenas but with Burmese spices Entrees: Seejet Noodles (Roast Duck with Garlicky Noodles) - I love duck, always order it when ever it is on the menu from every culture I can try! This was by far the most tender duck I've ever had! My favorite so far Kyae Oh Noodles (Pork Balls and Offals in Noodle Soup) - this is a typical Burmese dish and Sato was so nice to omit the offals as the cousin is a picky eater. Shrimp Curry with Coconut Rice - the hubby never order plain white rice if there is some other rice available so of course he chose coconut rice. Wow taste so good. It actually paired well with the curry since it was a bit spicy. Everything was freshly made and taste so good. The accompanying sauces were amazing but becareful they are hot, cleared our sinuses we couldn't stop sniffling LOL. We just went back without the cousin. I had to try the Kyae Oh Noodles with all the fixings. Wow! I don't really like liver but the offal were all very clean. You hardly taste the offalness lol sorry don't know how to describe it, if you had offal you know what I mean LOL. And hubby got Fish Curry with what else Coconut Rice hehehe and Balachaung (Dried Shrimp with Crispy Garlic and Onion). Balachaung was amazing mixed with the coconut rice. The slightly sweetness of the coconut played off the saltiness of the Balachaung is amazing! Amayar is definitely a place worth trying! Your tastebuds will thank you.

Great food! Had the seejet noodles and were delicious. The potato cutlet was also good; nice and crisp! It's like home cooking. Portions were also good. Definitely coming back to try more stuff.
