Great spot. Interesting museums and artifact connections. The longer 3.5km hike is an easy stroll through the maples. Worth a trek in the fall to watch the leaves changing.

What a great family-operated establishment! Their pancake breakfasts are delicious and hearty, with everything made from scratch. Their breakfast sausages are absolutely incredible! My family and I have gone there several times, and the friendly service and food are consistently fantastic. When it was my son's birthday, they made him a pancake cake, which he adored. Their syrup and other maple products are amazing as well. The syrup comes in two types of bottles: one for home and one for gifting, which is great! The farm animals are fun to see, and the kids adore the play area (which is great for burning off that sugar!)

Love this place. It has been a spring family tradition since the kids were little. Load up on the \Lanark County\ (3 huge pancakes, 4 maple sausage, with a side of maple beans, and, best part...unlimited maple syrup!), then attempt to wear it of exploring the local trails. Also, some great history to explore in the barns...chainsaw and farm implement museum, maple syrup production paraphernalia, and a few critters to keep the kids amused. Well laid out facility where you can see the sap coming in through a web of lines into the production area...billowing sweet steamy air fills the sire from the boiling sap. Don't forget to buy the finished product before you head home. A bit out of the way, but worth the trip!

I have been coming here periodically for years. The only thing I miss when I go is bacon. I brought my kids for their first time a couple weeks ago. It was great, they loved it!
