Nice and delicious fried oyster omelette in a zhir char restaurant. It is not so well-known so you can save your time from queuing for tasty food. The serving portion is not small and the price is reasonable. Worth to try and its operating time is usually after 5:00pm.

I like the vibes of this zi char at this coffee house. There's music been played while you're having your dinner. All the dishes we ordered are delicious! You can pre-order and reserve your seats prior to your dinner time as it can be quite packed. Location is just abt 5 mins away off the main Jonker street. Highly recommended this eatery.

Had a very enjoyable dinner generally. The al fresco dining environment was a treat especially with a gentle breeze blowing throughout our meal - a stark contrast to the scorching heat of the day. The yam ring with ribs & sambal kangkong were sumptuous. The ribs had that old world umami "wokhei". Makes me feel like what I ate during my youth in the undeveloped backlanes of Singapore. The letdown of the meal was the much touted "oyster egg" which have race reviews. This pales in comparison to what I've had elsewhere. A bigger letdown was the watery & tasteless chilli sauce.
