Perfect, wonderful, best I ever had... And many more good words to describe this place! We came on monday evening and it opened around 19:30 - 20h. Waiter didn't speak english, we didn't speak italian, so we trusted him to surprise us on dinner. We didn't know how many dishes there will be and what. Managed to understand that spaghetti, mixed fish included... First arrived starters - something with fish and some oatmeal (very good, interesting flavour). Then mussels - best in my life, so good, so fresh, wonderful taste, different than I used to, just perfect. After that - a plate with fried fish and omelette - fish was not over coocked, fresh, juicy and omelette with vegetables and maybe also some seafood, not sure, but still very good. And for finale - spaghetti with seafood, one with mussels and squids (first time in my life I got to know the taste of squid and it is nothing like a rubber!!! The other spaghetti dish was with clams - also very good, but I personaly would prefer the first one better. We wish we had place for dessert, as I trully believe it would have been perfect, but we were too full to even finish final dish. Together with that, we had watter and wine. All this dinner cost us 2-3 times less than we expected! All in all, exceptionaly good and tasty food for very reasonable price! We regret that we found it only on last night while staying at Deiva Marina, definitely would go more!

We came here because of the great reviews. We were sorely disappointed. Entrée was a cold spaghetti with canned vegetables, the main dish was veal in a white sauce that was very salty and slimy. It pains me to give this type of review. The waiter girl was very nice and kind to us. But when we looked around, everyone else was eating a different menu than we were. It could be they ordered in advance or were locals but no one in the restaurant was eating our plates. But I really wanted to like this place because of its hominess and the great reviews. Then the worst part was when the bill came out. 20 per person despite the fact that only 1 person got dessert and the rest of us couldn’t stomach anything else. Some people got multiple beers and coffee and it was just a strange note. We asked for the details of the 20 but the restaurant just shook it off and didn’t explain. So 20 for an entree of pasta from a box and cold vegetables with a main dish that no one could finish.
5 stars to cookers and waiters and 1 star to our bill. It was not explained at all, for 2 of us we got a bill of 50 (with only explanation "prezza concordante") when one of us had only the first meal. It seems that they are not honest to foreigners. Also, there was no menu to check the price...

Ora è momentaneamente chiusa, ma in attesa che Massimo si ritempri, è doveroso ricordare come si mangia in una vera trattoria ligure, adagiata sulla collina di Mezzema, nella tranquillità della frazione di Deiva Marina sotto lo sguardo severo della Rocca di Maggiolo. Ho nitidamente in testa il profumo del pesto e dei ravioli ai quattro tocchi fatti in casa; del coniglio e del fritto di pesce... Insomma non vedo l’ora che riapra per sentirmi a casa, con l’amico Massimo e i profumi delle nostre zone.
Ci torno sempre molto volentieri. Questa volta sono stata Sorpresa da un'antipasto di mare DA FAVOLA , ( c'è l'opzione Antipasto di Terra)ed una frittura di totani da leccarsi le dita !!!!Il servizio è sempre molto cortese ed i prezzi Contenuti. Luogo accogliente e informale, in cui trascorrere del tempo in maniera piacevole, mangiando bene!
Posto semplice. Una trattoria alla buona non per una serata galante sicuramente, ma il cibo è assolutamente ottimo. Porzioni abbondanti, pesce fresco, tagliolino freschissimi e un pesto a dir poco eccezionale. Conto onestiasimo. Consiglio vivamente.
