My rating only relates to the onsen and not the hotel itself as I did not stay here. Came over to use the onsen on a rainy day (in May 2019). Mentioned that I was staying at K's House and got a 100 discount (bringing price down to 900 from 1,000). Note that towels are not provided but can be rented for a fee (I brought my own so didn't find out what the fee was). The male onsen has an indoor bath and 2 outdoor baths. When you go in, you'll find a coin locker (100) and baskets to place your clothes. There is also a sink and hairdryers for you to use after your bath. You then enter through another set of glass doors to the indoor onsen. You'll need to sit down and clean yourself prior to entering. Shampoo and soap is provided. All 3 onsens were clean (clear water, nothing floating around) and there is no sulfur smell. Personally, I preferred the outdoor onsen as the onsen temperature was very warm and being outdoors, you get the cold air blowing on your face while soaking. There are also massage chairs outside the onsen at 200 for 10 minutes. Didn't try them. After the onsen, you can purchase a cold bottle of water (500ml) for 100 at reception. Overall, great first experience and worth a try if you're in the area.

It is pretty costly, but still nice. Being really close to the lake and the feeling of bathing near Mt. Fuji were both relaxing and comforting to me. They had the bath both inside and outside. After a nice hot bath, two massage chairs are available for 100 to enjoy. It was a really nice experience for me. To remind, no cloth or towels allowed in the bath.

I did not stay in hotel so I will review only bath. Yes there are better one with view of Fuji at Kawaguchiko but this one is still great choice and value for money. Staff is very nice and foreigner friendly. It’s very international I took a bath with folks from UK. What is most important they’re open minded about tattoos not like most others redneck backmind racist establishment at Kawaguchiko. The bath is big and when I visited it was clean and very peaceful. Furthermore the price is fair! I can really recommend it!
