Definitely plan for a wait if you are coming during dinner. I believe we waited about 25 minutes. But the staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the food is amazing. Bathrooms are also kept very clean. We got steak and the seafood chowder with eclairs for dessert. Would definitely recommend if you are in town.
Excellent place to eat myself my husband and daughter stopped for food on her birthday. The food was delicious desserts too. Staff so nice waiting staff were brilliant at there job super friendly. It was my daughter’s birthday the staff brought out an eclair and sang her happy birthday she was so happy made her day. Highly recommend I don’t live near by but We will be returning back soon. Just stop by and see for yourselves. 5* service
Excellent as usual. The plaice is gorgeous and great value. Staff are brilliant.
Such a wonderful place. We loved everything about it. Had wonderful breakfast, lunch, and evening drinks. Best coffee and tea we had in Ireland.
Why is it in business for all these year's. Because it always delivers great food and Drinks and I've no doubt will continue to do so for another 60 year's
Called here on Monday on way home from short break. Can only have the highest praise for all the staff and the quality of the food. With such a large dining area there was no problems with social distancing. We felt very safe and were shown to a table away from the other diners. We chose to have the 25 four course dinner. All the food was so good and well presented and we ate heartily. I can understand why they have such wide doors. The staff were wonderful and so pleasant . They all had their visors or masks fitted properly and any inconvenience caused by wearing them didn't show to us the customers. Just want to say thanks to all at the Monasterboice Inn and hopefully we will be back again soon.
Excellent as always. No booking made, but still accommodate us. All Hygiene regulations in place. Staff very attentive. Carry on the great work. Food very good. \u200d\u200d
