I came here with a group for an event. You couldn't really tell from the street that this was a bar academy. When we walked up the stairs the place was uniquely decorated. The owner came out and introduced himself and was nice and to the point. He explained that we were going to have stations and what we would be making at each. The experience of actually bartending was very fun. I enjoyed my time and the drinks that were made were good. We got a group rate of 35 per person when its usually 70.

I bought the groupon for the craft beer tasting at Bar Academy 101 for my dad for Christmas this year, and we had a delightful time. The owner, Robert, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about beer. He had pre-selected beers for us to try during this season, and even accommodated a specific taste I had shared with him! It’s a cozy and chill environment, and a great way to try new drinks. I am not a beer person, but leaving this experience I have a newfound appreciation and have even found some beers I like! Thank you, Bar Academy 101!
