I first discovered the Montpellier Cathedral because of one of the frequent organ recitals held there when I was an exchange student back in the 70's. When I found out that Nostradamus was part of its history, I came back again and again, hoping for some psychic or spiritual inspiration.

Impressive and huge building. Very nice church inside with free entrance. Lots of interesting pictures and ststues to view inside.
The most unusual feature of the cathedral is the supporting structure at the west entrance with its two towers. Inside there are some beautiful stained glass windows and a huge organ. Fairly peaceful.
What would you expect by a cathedral? The usual.. Instead here there are these two towers which make it look like a fortress, totally unusual! Additionally I really enjoyed the possibility to search for geometric shapes and views. The shade of the organ is another beautiful detail. Then, if you wish it's possible to get a free tour by local volunteers
Beautiful place to see the sunset and enjoy the twilight time.
Very nice cathedral, well kept place. The architecture and painting inside are very beautiful. Try and stay for the frequent church organ concerto, it's worth your time !
