Can't say enough about the prom in Morecambe, the views are to die for and the sunsets are legendary. I have travelled the world extensively on yachts (That's my job) however. I have never seen such beautiful deep red sunsets. The walk down the prom is outstanding, you have about 5 or 6 km of beauty to enjoy.

Superb seafront parking. Great shops. .and if you're a full time van dweller like i am. .well there's plenty of free parking. Make sure you spend local and make the town thrive. .
But next Friday but the sun was out and the walk was lovely. Such a great view over to Ulverston and to Barrow
Providing you don't make any eye contact with the locals, look away from the sad, decaying buildings along the waterfront, don't step on any sharps or dog poo on the beaches marked 'no dogs' it's a very nice seafront walk (right by a busy, fume filled road) don't tell any locals that 'German' episode of Faulty Towers was removed online because the BBC is a bunch of cowards, you're liable to start a riot. Also note the dog poo bag dispensers haven't had bags since the queen's jubilee.
It gave me some peace and quiet with time too think of how far I have come. In my life.
