Outstanding service from Taylor and Les tonight. Taylor took the time to show me the problem with my tyre and talked me through what needed to be done to repair and get me back on the road, very polite throughout, with a reassuring approach which made me feel this is someone I can trust. An asset to the company. As a NHS front line staff member thank you all at ATS for keeping us on the road during these unprecedented times.

Can’t really comment on the quality of service as I never had any ! I arrived at approximately 3.15 on Wednesday 30 th December . I waited while one lady talked to staff in reception. Following Covid rules I followed her into reception. I never got the opportunity to say what my problem was!! I was told there are only “2 of us on” and we can’t help you. Given that the bays were empty I was taken aback. I was informed “that lady’s job has to be done and we have another coming in , in the next 5 minutes”. No suggestion I might be willing to wait nor return at some point later. This was in complete contrast to Kwik Fit. They didn’t have a tyre to fit but not only did I receive profuse apologies but the young man offered to order one in. He also checked other depots to tell me they had an appropriate tyre at Denton Burn.

The man that worked last night/ Friday evening was so incredibly rude to me. I have an MOT booked in with this branch and enquired about tire prices at time of booking. I called as I wanted to buy the 2 new midrange tires they'd quoted me. The man was very strange to me and had a very bad attitude. I couldn't get a straight answer. I dont know if it was because I called late on a Friday and he wanted to leave or if he is like this with everyone. Its as it he felt betrayed that my opening sentence was ' I'm intending to buy 2 new tires from you online and wanted to check that is possible for install during MOT'. Response was 'oh have you now, why do you just presume we have them in stock?, what size? i can't tell you tire size from your reg, what size , what size?' Instead of helping me to find the information he needed he belittled me and repeated what size what size. They gave me the quote! Instead of buying 2 tires I was in flood of tears. I will be cancelling the MOT and buying tires elsewhere. I'll never use them again. Id like more senior management to listen to the call.

Usually don't have any problems with this company, but rang up about a problem with my tyre and got booked in for the following day. Went along for my allocated time and was turned away as they were too busy. I understand that they are under a bit more stress at the moment, but the fact that I booked an appointment and was turned away and told don't worry about my tyre until it starts losing air. There was no apology or even an attempt to look in their diary for my appointment. It was almost like its the end of week and they couldn't be bothered. I have since gone to another garage and been told that it needs changing ASAP, as it could cause a problem. I will be very annoyed if I end up with a flat tyre or worst a blow out between now and my appointment at the other garage as this should of been fixed by ATS when I had an appointment there.
