I took my wife there after she suffered a fall. There are no signs to tell you where to drop and injured patient off by car. There are barriers at the vehicle entrance to the hospital and no indication as to whether you can go in and drop a patient off. There are no car parks in the immediate area. I was extremely lucky that I was able to dump my car by some roadworks outside. Reception staff were quite cold and inattentive. Triage was quick and the nurse was very pleasant. There was quite a wait after this to see the doctor but I suppose it was not too bad. There was a screen with numbers on to tell patients when and where to go but this was not explained too well and it was a bit confusing for first-time users. The Dr I'm sure was very competent but he looked exhausted and had no \bedside manner\. He made no concessions for the fact that we were English. I speak reasonable Spanish and got the gist of what was said but I struggled. We were sent to the x-ray department where there was nobody at the desk. There was no sign or explanation as to why it was unmanned. Being new to the hospital we weren't even sure we were in the right place. Eventually someone appeared but this whole thing makes people anxious. I was sent there by the Vithas clinic in Nerja but another time I would refuse to go to this hospital and find somewhere else. Medically we were treated okay but there was no feeling of being a valued client of a private hospital. Generally you get better treated at the public hospitals.

I went for a colonoscopy, everything was simple and efficient, from the reception to the test. I was there with the insurance Adeslas and booked for the test just one week before. Good experience!

I am utterly shocked at the way myself and my daughter were treated at this hospital. I have private medical health insurance but they would not send a report to my providers to get guarantee of payment and wanted cash up front before they would see her. Absolutely no consideration for the patient more concerned about the money. They are also doing a refurb and the drilling woke us up unbelievable!!! Staff extremely rude and made a worrying situation whilst on holiday a whole lot worse please avoid this hospital if possible.

Very good experience with this hospital especially with Mrs Daphne Theunissen who helped us out with the translation and explained everything when doctor came with results. She also took care of the paperwork between hospital and insurence company and answered immediatly when we had any questions via email.
