Delicious Israeli restaurant! I ADORED this place! Have been wanting to go again since that last time I went. The food was really great, and very different. You have to be open to trying some new things you might not have tried before! Worth it. The inside is very attractive, as well. Their cocktails are tasty, too, and not overdone (great mixture to alcohol ratio). I'd recommend this place as a friend get-together or date night spot.

The most AMAZING pita you will ever taste. I LOVED the restaurant, from the atmosphere to the customer service and obviously the flavor and authenticity of the food. AMAZING. JUST AMAZING. Our server Simon, was very friendly, warm and informative. We loved talking to him about the food and learning about how they cook the lamb and how fresh the pita is. I will most definitely come back to this restaurant with more friends and family. I brought my boyfriend and his best friend and they both LOVED the place SO much
Shaya is exceptional and a real treasure. Everything was prepared gluten free upon request (minus the pita bread, though they offered a plate of fresh crudités as a substitute). Our happy hour order came out almost immediately (wine by the glass and an order of lamb hummus), and everything else came out timely and fresh. Waitress was on point and extremely knowledgeable, also took our order by memory. The braised lamb and warm pita were my husbands favorite and I would order everything again, noting the roasted beets, lamb hummus and chocolate mousse. We agreed that everything on the menu is probably fantastic, highly recommend!
We had an early reservation and were seated right away. Tables are nicely spaced and each party was spaced as much as possible. Service was excellent. Food came quickly but we never felt rushed and were able to take our time. The waiter was awesome. He and other staff came around to keep our waters full. Everything was served beautifully and tasted as delicious as it looked. Cauliflower hummus was great to start out with. The pitas were warm and thick. The drum and the lamb were excellent entree choices, and for dessert, the dark chocolate ganache and cookies weren't overly sweet but a nice rich way to finish the meal. 47 problems was a bright, citrusy, and refreshing cocktail. Hands down will be back.
This was the most incredible meal. Best spot we went to in New Orleans. From the wine to the Lima beans to the lamb and the fried chicken & date hummus ending with the lemon labneh and cardamom ice cream. Absolute art. Taste buds will miss this spot until we’re back in the Big Easy. What a divine treat! Thank you!
