We love the Friday's with the band playing great 70s music. Drinks reasonable prices Nice friendly people but clicky so bring your own friends if you want a chat. Great view of the ocean and beach between 2 headlands.

Somebody has said "but it's rockpool is in very bad condition"!! .. huh! That's part of the charm! We love Newport Beach .. regular visitors with the kids .. very handy beach facilities rendered by the Surf Club .. thanks, guys! Oh .. always seem to get a parking place - but I guess we tend to avoid the special days (surf comps, etc). You simply could not find a much better beach for a family day out. Well ... I could say that about a couple of our other favourite beaches .. see my other reviews!
