Miranda was the doula for my first baby born in Oct. 2018. The birth was difficult and we ended up needing a c-section which Miranda talked me through (I was very upset about getting the procedure). I gave her control of my camera and she took nearly 200 pictures in the delivery and recovery rooms (which I treasure since I couldn't even see my baby from my position on the table). A few days after we got home I ended up back in the hospital due to complications. Miranda was able to provide the extra assistance we needed to get through those days until our mothers were able to make it into town (neither of us have support in the area). I highly recommend Miranda as a knowledgeable, helping hand before, during, and after birth.
